The Metal Wire Torsion Testing Machine is designed to determine the ability of metal wires with diameters (or characteristic dimensions) of 1–6 mm to withstand plastic deformation during unidirectional or bidirectional torsion. It can also reveal surface and internal defects in the test specimen.
The machine is suitable for various types of metal wires and rods, including:
Steel Materials: Steel wire, steel rod, reinforcing bar, etc.
Copper Materials: Copper wire, copper rod, copper alloys, etc.
Aluminum Materials: Aluminum wire, aluminum rod, aluminum alloys, etc.

The Metal Wire Torsion Testing Machine adopts a microcomputer-based controller with an optimized circuit design specifically developed for the operating characteristics of the system. It provides strong resistance to electrical interference and stable, reliable operation.
The display uses a large-area LCD screen with Chinese-language prompts. The control program is designed with a user-friendly interface for convenient operation, clear display, and accurate test results.
The controller responds to preset test parameters and operating commands, controls the frequency converter, and regulates motor operation to achieve the required test functions.
The controller can operate the output shaft at a specified rotational speed.
The output shaft can rotate in both forward and reverse directions to apply torsional loading to the specimen.
The number of torsion turns before specimen fracture can be recorded, with a counting accuracy of 1 revolution.
The number of torsion turns can be preset independently for both forward and reverse rotation.
