The Fabric Drying Rate Tester is a device specifically designed to measure the moisture-absorbing and quick-drying properties of textiles. Its core function is to simulate the drying process of a fabric in a specific environment after the human body has sweated; drying time and rate are calculated based on changes in temperature or weight.
There are two mainstream testing methods:AATCC 200 Air Flow Method、AATCC 201 Heated Plate Method.

Air Flow Method:
1. Incorporates high-precision sensors for air velocity, temperature (infrared), and moisture, along with a high-precision airflow control unit and a mechanism that alternates between water-drop sensing and infrared measurement.
2. Integrated with software, the system automates the measurement of maximum fabric water absorption, drying time, and drying rate, as well as subsequent data analysis; this significantly boosts efficiency and measurement accuracy while minimizing errors caused by manual operation.
3. Data is transmitted between the testing software and the main unit via a USB port; results are displayed and saved as curves and charts, facilitating user analysis and printing.
Heated Plate Method:
1. Incorporates high-precision air velocity sensors, infrared temperature sensors, standard temperature sensors, a precision water-drip system, a high-precision airflow control unit, and an airflow channel designed based on fluid dynamics principles.
2. Integrates with computer software to automatically perform fabric drying time and drying rate tests, as well as comprehensive data analysis; this significantly enhances operational efficiency and measurement accuracy while minimizing errors caused by manual operation.
3. The testing software communicates with the main unit via a USB port, displaying and saving data in the form of curves and charts to facilitate user analysis and printing.
