The Xenon lamp aging test chamber is a photoaging tester for large-capacity textile testing. With additional sample light frame, temperature sensor and easy to aging filter. 220 can test 38 samples at the same time, with 150S + double capacity. I. Preparation Stage
Add Water
Fill the water tank with deionized water or purified water to ensure test accuracy and stable equipment operation.
Check Equipment
Confirm whether the test chamber is air-cooled or water-cooled. For water-cooled chambers, check the chiller's water flow and water supply.
Check the power cord and terminals for secure connection, checking for aging or damage.
Place Samples
Number the samples one by one and place them on the test rack.
For rotating frame test chambers, clamp the samples onto the rotating frame; for flat-panel chambers, adjust the shelf height to maintain the standard distance from the lamp tube.
II. Setting Parameters
Connect Power
Turn on the power switch. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating normal power supply.
Set Temperature and Humidity
Adjust the temperature and humidity parameters to the desired values using the "∨" or "∧" keys on the touchscreen or control panel.
Set Time
Set the total test duration and illumination duration according to the test requirements using the time display. Use the "Up/Down" keys to adjust and the middle key to confirm.
Other parameters (optional) Set parameters such as rain and air exchange rate as needed, for example, adjust the ventilation volume by rotating the top air valve and air inlet valve.
III. Start the Test
Lamp Preparation** Turn on the "Xenon Lamp Preparation" switch to ensure the xenon lamp can be lit normally.
Ignite the Xenon Lamp** Press the "Lamp" switch to light the xenon lamp; to simulate light changes, turn on the "Light" switch.
Start the Test** After confirming the parameters are correct, click the "Start" button. The test chamber will run according to the set conditions.
IV. Observation and Recording
Observation Inside the Chamber** Observe the sample status through the viewing window. The window filter protects your eyes, but avoid looking directly at the light source.
Record Data** Record the temperature, humidity, light intensity, and changes in the sample's appearance and performance during the test.
V. End and Cleanup
Shut Down the Equipment** After the test, the test chamber will automatically stop, turn off the xenon lamp and power switch, and disconnect the power supply.
Remove the Sample** Open the chamber door and remove the sample for subsequent testing and analysis.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean any residue inside the tank and keep it dry; if the tank is to be out of use for an extended period, drain the water tank, ventilate and dry it before closing the door.
