The 3A Solar Simulator – Sol3A Series delivers Class AAA performance for all three key solar simulator metrics: spectral match, spatial uniformity, and temporal stability. Using a single Xenon Arc Lamp, Sol3A provides high reliability and consistent 1 SUN output power, meeting the rigorous requirements of IEC, ASTM, and JIS standards.
It is ideal for solar cell testing, PV module evaluation, and materials research, offering true-to-spectrum illumination from UV to IR. Optional filters allow AM 1.5G standard testing, with AM 0 and AM 1.5D available for specialized applications.
Class AAA Performance
Certified Class A spectral match, spatial uniformity, and temporal stability under IEC 60904-9 (2007), JIS 8904-9 (2017), and ASTM E927-10 (2015).
Ensures precise solar cell efficiency measurements with minimal measurement errors.
Spectral Match – Class A
Achieves ideal spectral match across 6 wavelength bands, with deviation ≤ ±25% of the reference spectrum.

AM 1.5G filter ensures long-term optical stability under continuous 1 SUN illumination.
Spatial Uniformity – Class A
Uniformity ≤ 2% over the working area to prevent hot spots.
Each simulator comes with a detailed irradiance non-uniformity plot.
Temporal Stability – Class A
Short-term instability (STI) ≤ 0.5%, meeting the strictest IEC standards.
Long-term temporal instability (LTIT) ≤ 2.0%, providing consistent measurements over extended test durations.
Xenon Arc Lamp – Continuous Wave (CW)
CW system enables testing of all cell materials and prolonged soaking at a constant light level.
Ozone-free xenon short arc lamp certified for 1000 hours, extendable to 2000 hours.
Replacement lamps and alignment palettes recommended for continuous production environments.

Adjustable Output & Beam Direction
Variable attenuator allows 0.1–1.0 SUN output.
Beam can be customized to downward, upward (SR1), or sideways (SR3/SR4) configurations for experimental flexibility.
Ideal for back-contact cells, glovebox setups, or unique laboratory arrangements.
Safety Features
Temperature sensors and interlocks prevent overheating and ensure operator safety.
Stable CW operation reduces the risk of measurement errors or damage to sensitive materials.
