The IPX5–IPX6 Rain Test Chamber G-RTC109 is designed to evaluate the waterproof protection performance of product enclosures when exposed to powerful water jets. Water-induced damage—such as corrosion, discoloration, deformation, reduced strength, swelling, and mold—can lead to catastrophic failures, particularly in electrical devices where short circuits may cause fire hazards.
This equipment simulates natural rainfall and water jet conditions to verify the reliability, durability, and IP protection level of various products. It is widely used for product design validation, quality assessment, certification testing, and factory inspection.

(1) Ensure the chamber is properly installed, connected to water, and powered according to specifications.
(2) Place the sample on the turntable and secure it if needed.
(3) Select IPX5 or IPX6 mode and adjust water flow using the flow meter.
(4) Set test duration on the touch screen (0–999 min).
(5) If needed, configure sample power on/off cycling parameters.
(6) Start the test; the turntable and spray system will operate automatically.
(7) Observe the test through the LED-lit window.
(8) After the set time, the chamber will stop automatically; remove and inspect the sample.
(1) Clean filters and the water tank regularly to prevent blockage and ensure stable flow.
(2) Check nozzles for mineral buildup and clean when necessary.
(3) Inspect seals and stainless-steel surfaces for wear, corrosion, or leaks.
(4) Verify flow meter accuracy periodically.
(5) Lubricate mechanical turning components according to service schedule.
(6) Ensure drainage pipes remain unobstructed.
(7) Inspect electrical components, PLC, and cables for signs of overheating or looseness.
(8) Perform annual comprehensive maintenance and calibration.
