The ethylene oxide residue gas chromatograph is a specialized instrument used to detect residual ethylene oxide in medical products and devices. Ethylene oxide (EO) is a commonly used sterilizing agent for medical devices. 1. Prepare six standard solutions of ethylene oxide to six different concentrations using an appropriate amount of standard standard. Take 10 ml of each solution and prepare six standard samples of different concentrations.
2. When the standard samples reach gas-liquid equilibrium, different liquid concentrations correspond to different gas concentrations. Take the gas after equilibrium and inject it into the syringe, recording the peak height (or area) of ethylene oxide.
3. Based on the peak heights (or areas) corresponding to the standard solutions of different concentrations, plot the peak height (or area) - concentration = 1.5. Calculate the residual ethylene oxide content using the formula.
