TDM Cutting Resistance Tester

The TDM straight blade travels once across the test material and is only used once. TDM Test rates materials on a scale of A - F and uses an oscillating blade that measures the force necessary to cut through high-cut materials. Materials that test beyond Level 3 or produce a false Coupe Test reading will receive an "X", and the TDM Test is introduced where a letter rating A - F is determined (Example 4X43FP). If the TDM Test isn't required, an "X" is used to state that there's no rating (Example 4243XP).

Application:

This machine is used for TDM grading test (cutting force N) of gloves, protective clothing fabrics and other fabrics, composite materials, rubber and other materials for cutting resistance.

The program has built-in blade correction coefficient automatic calculation formula, cutting data calculation, and curve fitting function to reduce the operator's time for complex calculations. It also supports instrument data storage, raw data query and data export functions.

The software can upgrade the algorithm with the standard. It is currently upgraded to the calculation and output function of the confidence interval (CI) and determination coefficient (R2) of the curve regression that meets the requirements of the new standard 13997-2023.
