The Air Flow Resistance Tester is designed to quantitatively evaluate the air permeability and airflow resistance of textile materials. It measures the volume of air passing through a unit area of fabric under a controlled pressure difference, providing objective data for fabric breathability, filter performance, and technical textile assessment.
The instrument automatically calculates air permeability based on airflow rate, specimen area, and applied pressure difference, delivering results in standardized units such as ft³/min/ft², cm³/s/cm², or L/m²/s.
