Water injection counterweight dummy

This counterweight dummy can be filled with water, the torso and the bottom are separated,independently filled with water or solid filler, and can be adjusted to the Angle of the backrest to fit the seat, child seat and other operating tests of the car.

Application

Suitable for performance and driving reliability and safety testing of motor vehicles such as passenger cars, buses, small passenger vehicles, construction vehicles, trucks, high-speed trains, and electric locomotives; simulating occupant weight and load (heavy load) configuration testing, with specific gravity similar to that of the human body, more reasonable center of gravity height and mass distribution, which is more conducive to the reliability assessment of vehicle seats;

Test Procedures

1. Unpacking & Component Check

Confirm all parts (trunk, base, fixing screws, accessories) are complete; check for damage.

2. Base Assembly

Place the base part on a flat surface; use the bottom shaft fixing screw to secure the base (tighten with a hex wrench).

3. Trunk Connection

Align the trunk with the base’s connection port; lock it in place (ensure the seat belt fixed point faces upward).

4. Filling Operation

Open the filling port (on trunk/base separately); fill with water/sand (refer to Mass Distribution for target weight).Close the port tightly after filling (check for leaks).

5. Backrest Angle Adjustment

Adjust the trunk’s angle to match the test seat (e.g., car seat/child seat) and lock the position.

6. Safety Belt Fixing

Thread the test safety belt through the seat belt fixing grooves on the trunk; fasten it securely.

7. Test Preparation

Confirm all parts are stable; connect sensors (if using) to the dummy’s sensor interface.
