Equipment and Accessory Check:
Confirm that the instrument's transparent cylindrical tube (outer diameter 60mm, inner diameter 50mm, capacity 1000mL), multi-station (e.g., 12-station) automatic clamping function, automatic liquid filling, and timing module are functioning correctly; check that the equipment power supply and operating interface (Chinese and English touch screen) are stable.
Sample Preparation:
Select the medical gloves to be tested (e.g., rubber examination gloves, sterile surgical gloves), ensuring that the gloves are free of damage and stains, and conform to the product type corresponding to the test standard.
Standard Matching:
Clearly identify the standard to be followed for the test, and confirm the corresponding test duration requirements.
2. Equipment Parameter Settings
Start the instrument and select the matching test standard via the Chinese and English touch screen;
Set core parameters:
Liquid Filling Time: Set the automatic liquid filling duration according to the transparent cylindrical tube capacity (1000mL);
Test Time: Set the independent timer according to the duration required by the corresponding standard ;
Station Selection: Enable the required number of stations to improve testing efficiency.
3. Sample Installation
Place each medical glove onto the transparent cylindrical tube port of each station;
Activate the automatic clamping function of each station to fix the gloves and ensure they are in a vertical position, avoiding wrinkles or looseness (to prevent leakage during the test that is not due to the glove itself).
4. Automatic Liquid Filling and Test Start
Activate the automatic liquid filling function to fill each transparent cylindrical tube with water to 1000mL, ensuring the gloves are completely covered with water;
After confirming that the liquid filling is complete and there is no initial leakage, start the timer to begin the water tightness test.
5. Test Process Monitoring
During the test, observe the status of the gloves at each station: whether there is water leakage or penetration marks;
Maintain a stable testing environment (e.g., room temperature 20±5℃), avoiding external forces interfering with the equipment or gloves.
6. Test Completion and Result Determination
After the test duration is complete, stop the timer and drain the water from the cylindrical tube;
Remove the gloves and determine the results one by one: gloves without leakage are considered "qualified", and those with leakage are considered "unqualified";
Generate a test report using the equipment, recording sample information, test standards, and results for each test station.
7. Equipment Post-Maintenance
Clean any remaining water stains from the transparent cylindrical tube and the test station fixtures;
Check the operating status of the automatic liquid filling and clamping functions, organize and archive the test report, and ensure the stability of the equipment for future use.
