Sample Preparation and Environmental Pretreatment: Sampling specifications require taking one sample each from the head, middle, and tail of each roll of geotextile membrane, avoiding the edges by more than 150 mm. The sample size should be ≥200 mm × 200 mm. For textured geotextile membranes, the locations of surface protrusions must be marked, and these granular areas should be avoided during measurement.
Environmental Control: Samples should be pretreated in an environment of 23±2℃ and 50±10% humidity for at least 4 hours to eliminate temperature stress.
Equipment Selection and Parameter Settings: The thickness gauge requires a pressure of 0.56±0.05 N, a contact area of 10 mm-25 mm, a resolution of 0.01 mm, and a measurement error of ≤±0.02 mm.
Testing Procedure and Data Processing: Each sample is evenly divided into 5 measurement points in a "quincunx" pattern, with a point spacing of ≥50 mm, and edge points at least 25 mm from the sample edge. For textured surface height measurement: use a depth gauge to measure the height difference between the peaks and valleys of the membrane surface. Measure 3 points on each sample and take the average.
Result Judgment: Thickness deviation: The deviation between the measured value and the nominal value should be ≤±5%. Textured surface height: The average value must be ≥ the design value, and the minimum value must not be less than 80% of the nominal value.
