The Spray Tester  comprises a metal framework allowing distilled water to be sprayed through a nozzle onto a test specimen at 45° and 150mm below. The appearance of the specimen is compared against an optional photographic scale to rate.

Features

1. The instrument structure is simple, mainly by the main frame, funnel, nozzle, sample holder and sample holder;

2. Nozzle have a total of 19 aperture evenly distributed, the aperture required by the standard custom. 250ml of water poured into the funnel can flow out of the nozzle within 25-30s;

3. The racks on the upper edge of the racks are at a 45 ° angle to the horizontal;

4. The center of the upper edge of the sample holder ring, ie the distance from the center of the sample to the nozzle, is 150 mm.

Test Procedures

1. Calibrate the apparatus by filling the funnel with 250 ml of distilled water at 27±1℃ (80±2) for the required time of testing and measurement.

2. Securely fix the sample within the 152.4 mm diameter ring, exposing the fabric sample surface to the water mist. The sample surface should be smooth and wrinkle-free.

3. Place the hula hoop on the top test platform of the fabric, aligning the center of the spray pattern with the center of the hula hoop.

4. For fabrics such as fine yarn, gabardine, corduroy, or similar structures, place the iron ring on the stand, ensuring the fabric orientation aligns with the final product orientation.

5. Pour 250 ml of distilled water at 27±1℃ into the funnel, allowing it to spray the sample for 25-30 seconds.

6. When pouring distilled water, avoid touching the funnel with the graduated cylinder. Moving the funnel will alter the spray distribution on the sample. 7. Hoop, bottom edge, using the opposite edge firmly against a solid object facing the fabric, then rotate the hoop 180° and repeat before the point.

8. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for all three samples.
