Greuel Cold Fold Stiffness Tester

1. Product Function and Application

The Greuel Cold Fold Stiffness Tester is designed to evaluate the cold fold stiffness of soft trim materials, including fabrics and leather, by simulating repeated folding at low temperatures.

The tester is used inside a cold chamber, allowing samples and the fixture to be pre-conditioned at the test temperature. After soaking, the ambient temperature drive motor is attached, and samples are folded through knurled rollers. The propensity of materials to resist cracking or stiffness is then visually assessed.
