1. Product Function and Application

The Power Fabric Stiffness Tester is designed to measure stiffness properties, such as flexural rigidity, of textile fabrics and other flexible sheet materials. It is ideal for evaluating woven, layered, pile, knitted, or napped fabrics, including heavily sized, coated, or resin-treated materials.

This instrument can also test leather, paper, plastic films, geotextiles, protective fabrics, blankets, and airbag fabrics. Using the cantilever bending principle, the tester quantifies how a material bends under its own weight, providing a reliable measurement of stiffness.
