The AT1000 wear tester is designed for evaluating the wear properties of platelet-shaped fillers, pigments, and industrial materials. Test Procedure

(1) Prepare the test suspension with filler/pigment and water in measuring cups.

(2) Install the sample disc using PVC rings in the special holder.

(3) Set the rotary mill speed via the touch screen and input the target number of revolutions.

(4) Start the test; the rotary mill creates turbulence in the suspension to abrade the sample disc.

(5) Monitor preset and actual revolutions on the touch screen.

(6) After test completion, measure mass loss or wear characteristics for data analysis.

(7) Replace consumables (sieves, rings, wear plates) as needed for subsequent tests.
