The Intelligent Cable Measurement Vision System is a non-contact, machine-vision-based testing instrument designed for rapid and precise measurement of wire, cable, and optical fiber structural parameters. The system can measure insulation and sheath thickness, outer diameter, eccentricity, concentricity, ovality, and conductor cross-sectional area, while automatically generating standardized test reports.

Uniform illumination eliminates stray light interference, ensuring measurement accuracy and repeatability. Software extracts parameters such as thickness, outer diameter, eccentricity, concentricity, ovality, and conductor cross-sectional area, automatically generating standardized reports.
Ensure the light source and optical path are clean for uniform illumination.
Place the sample in the fixture, ensuring cross-section is perpendicular to the camera axis.
Select the appropriate camera group based on sample diameter and start the measurement program.
Software automatically captures images and calculates structural parameters; manual measurement is available for special cross-sections.
Upon completion, data is automatically stored in the database and can be printed as a report.
Operating environment: Temperature -10–40°C, Relative Humidity ≤95%, Altitude ≤2000 m.
Power on the instrument and perform self-check; calibrate light source and camera parameters.
Place the sample at the center of the optical chamber, ensuring horizontal alignment.
Launch measurement software and select the corresponding template (round, flat, multi-core, etc.).
Software automatically captures images, extracts contours, and calculates thickness and geometric parameters.
Review measurement results and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
For non-standard cross-sections, mark measurement points manually; software calculates minimum/average thickness.
