Product Introduction:

The resistance of a surface finish to brushing or scrubbing is a key performance indicator, particularly for applications like interior paints, floor coatings, and durable finishes on furniture or appliances that are subjected to cleaning. A Brush Resistance Tester provides a controlled and repeatable method to quantify this resistance.

The test involves mounting a specimen of the coated substrate onto a flat, secure holder on the tester. A controlled downward force or weight is applied to the brush, ensuring consistent pressure between the brush bristles and the specimen surface.
