Instrument Purpose

The instrument tests the durability of coated fabrics by rotating a rectangular specimen strip between two opposing cylinders. One cylinder reciprocates along its axis to alternately compress and relax the specimen, creating controlled folding until failure occurs or predetermined cycles are completed.
