The customer is a medium-sized textile manufacturer specializing in wool, chemical fiber, and blended yarn production. The company operates multiple spinning and weaving production lines and supplies yarn products to garment factories and industrial fabric producers.
In recent years, with increasing demand for high-quality and stable yarn products, the customer has placed greater emphasis on process tension control, especially during spinning, winding, and weaving stages. Even slight tension fluctuations were found to directly affect yarn uniformity, breakage rate, and final fabric performance.
Before introducing the digital yarn tension meter, the customer relied mainly on indirect or experience-based tension control methods, which led to several practical issues:
(1) Inconsistent yarn tension across production batches
Operators adjusted machine settings based on experience, resulting in variation between different shifts and production lines.
(2) High yarn breakage rate in weaving process
Unstable tension control caused frequent yarn breakage, especially during high-speed weaving operations.
(3) Lack of real-time quantitative data
Previous inspection methods could not provide accurate static and dynamic tension values, making process optimization difficult.
(4) Difficulty in quality traceability

To improve process stability, the customer introduced our digital yarn tension meter for on-site and laboratory tension monitoring.
The instrument is used to measure both static and dynamic tension of yarn during production, helping operators quickly identify abnormal tension conditions and adjust machine parameters in real time.
Its portable structure allows direct measurement on spinning frames, winding machines, and weaving equipment without interrupting production.
