The flash point is key for classifying flammable liquids, crucial for safety in transport, storage, and handling. A fully automatic closed-cup tester places a liquid sample in a sealed cup, heats it at a controlled rate, introduces ignition at intervals, and records the flash point. It's used in labs for safety classification, quality control, inspection, R&D, and compliance testing.
This tester is widely used to measure interfacial and surface tension for various liquids and petroleum products such as transformer oil, lube oil, turbine oil, hydraulic oil, etc. The equipment is fully automatic that only pressing the "start" button can finish the tension value calculation according to the input parameters.

Instrument Placement: Place the instrument on a stable test workbench, preferably in a location without forced ventilation.
Power Supply Check: Ensure the power supply voltage is 220VAC, 50HZ, and has a ground wire. If the requirements are met, plug in the power cord.
Display Settings: After turning on the power switch, the instrument displays the ambient temperature and the initial set temperature.
Ignition Check: Press the ignition button to check if the ignition mechanism is functioning correctly.
Parameter Setting: Modify the set flash point parameter. Press the setting button, set the value to 10. and then enter the desired parameter.
Ready for Operation: Press the start button. The lifting mechanism will automatically lower the measuring mechanism into the cup.
Temperature Control: When the temperature rises to 28°C below the set value, the ignition source automatically scans and automatically detects the flash point.
Result Display: The instrument scans every 2°C thereafter. After the microcontroller detects the flash point, it displays the flash point temperature and triggers an alarm.
Test Completion: If no ignition point is detected, the instrument automatically stops heating, the lifting mechanism automatically rises, the fire extinguishing cover automatically closes, and an alarm sounds to indicate the end of the test.
