The Fabric Touch Tester is designed for the objective evaluation of tactile properties of sheet-like materials such as fabrics, textiles, nonwovens, sanitary paper, and leather. By simulating human touch through a rotor-vibration mechanism, the instrument measures softness, smoothness, stiffness, and hand-feel (HF), providing quantitative data that correlates with human perception. With additional accessories, the tester can also evaluate elasticity, viscoelasticity, plasticity, bursting, compressibility, thickness, and basis weight, making it suitable for R&D, quality control, and production optimization.
