The battery needle puncture testing machine is mainly used to simulate the reliability of the performance changes and safety performance of the battery after being punctured by sharp metal objects from the outside and damaged internally. It can complete needle puncture experiments on 5-50Ah power batteries and their small battery packs.

Single cell battery test:

Requirement:

1. Charge according to the special regulations provided by the manufacturer. If the manufacturer does not provide a charger, discharge the battery at a current of 1I (A) under the condition of 20 ℃plusmn; 5 ℃, stop discharging when the termination voltage reaches 3.0V (or the discharge termination voltage specified by the enterprise technical conditions), let it stand for 1 hour, and then charge at a constant current of 1I (A) under the condition of 20 ℃plusmn; 5 ℃ until the battery voltage reaches 4.2V (or the discharge termination voltage specified by the enterprise technical conditions), and stop charging when the charging current drops to 0.1I. After charging, let it stand for 1 hour.

2. Use diameter phi; 3mm~ phi; 8mm high-temperature resistant steel needle, penetrating from the direction perpendicular to the battery electrode plate at a speed of 10mm/s~40mm/s (the steel needle stays in the battery)
