Applicable scope:

Used to determine the burst strength or seam burst strength of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics, and also applied to the bursting force required for paper and leather bursting. The instrument is a testing machine that measures the resistance (burst strength) of textiles, knitwear, paper, and other materials to damage due to various external forces.

Product details:

The rubber film laid under the test piece expands through oil pressure, and the pressure at which the sample bursts is measured. The burst strength is calculated using the following formula.

Burst strength (kPa)=A-B

A=pressure at which the rubber film causes the test piece to burst;

B=The pressure when the test piece is taken out and only the rubber film is used.
