Applicable scope:

The AATCC wrinkle recovery tester can detect the recovery ability of a sample after being folded and compressed for a certain period of time under a certain load. Suitable for any fabric made from pure or blended fibers. Materials that cannot maintain stable appearance under specific wrinkling conditions, such as those that are relatively soft, thin, and easy to bend, can be evaluated for their anti wrinkling performance through this device.

Product details:

Under standard atmospheric conditions, apply a predetermined pressure to the sample using a standard wrinkling device and maintain it for the specified time. The overall structure of the instrument and the precise spiral column can ensure uniform deformation of the specimen after loading. After removing the sample from the instrument, lower the humidity of the sample under standard atmospheric conditions and allow it to recover for a certain period of time. Then, compare the sample with the reference sample to evaluate its appearance.

The wrinkle recovery tester includes a base with a bracket, and a circular steel plate fixed on the base matches the movable steel plate at the upper end. The movable flange is equipped with a locking pin. The instrument is equipped with four standard weights, namely 2000g, 1000g, 500kg, and 200kg.

This instrument provides a complete set of 5-inch x 3-inch plastic sheets for easy rating (1-5 levels).
