Developed according to BS 5852-2006, the BS 5852 Combustion Tester is used to test the combustion response of mattress and sofa material combinations when ignited. It is widely used in the flame retardant performance test of upholstered furniture in Europe and the United States. It is independently tested by our company Shanghai QINSUN Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. Equipment, cost-effective, complete after-sales service.
Test Principle:
Test When Testing The Rack is covered with standard foam and the substance to be tested, and the sample is ignited with a standard ignition device consisting of a control box and a combustion tube to detect the combustion process.
Standards:
BS 5852-2006, ISO 8191-12:1987, EN 1021-12, IOS 17927.12:2011, BS EN 597-12, BS 7175 and other standards.
Test equipment:
The ignition carrackThe tester for mattresses and sofas consists of two parts: a combustion test device and a control box.
Main parameters:
Sample container: Location and fix the preparation.
There are two specifications of all stainless steel test frames, the sizes are (450×300×150)mm and (450×450×300)mm, heat-resistant mesh structure, the mesh size of the cross diagonal is 28mm×6 mm.
Combustion Hose: Connect propane or butane gas as ignition source. Includes squib and gas hose.
Stainless steel ignition tube: outer diameter (8 ± 0.1) mm, inner diameter (6.5 ± 0.1) mm, length (200 ± 5) mm.
Gas hose: inner diameter (7±1) mm, length (2.5-3.0) m.
Power button: flow control and display.
Timing button: When the sample begins to ignite, press the timing button to start the ignition timing. When the contact is over,
Press the ti againbutton to turn off the timer.
Timer: Set and display start time and buzzer alarm time.
Buzzer: When the sample is ignited, the buzzer sounds and the alarm lights up to remind you to withdraw the ignition source and end the experiment. Flow Control Valve: Adjust the gas flow to adjust the flame height.
Gas flow meter: Display the gas flow. Pressure control valve: control gas pressure. Manometer: Display gas pressure.
Gas switch: Control the gas line on and off.
The inlet of the interface is connected to the gas pipe through the gas pipe, and the gas outlet is connected to the combustion chamber inlet through the gas pipe.
The power interface is connected to an external power supply via the power cord. The input power is 220V/50-60Hz.
