Dry Tape Tester The material sample is subjected to a combination of torsion and compression in the test chamber. During this spinning process, air is sucked out of the test chamber and the particles in the air are counted and classified using a laser dust particle counter. It is used to evaluate the pilling test of non-woven fabrics under dry conditions. It is especially suitable for the evaluation of the pilling resistance of non-woven fabrics and other textile materials used in medical protective materials.
