A. What is water column?
The water column is a measure of how waterproof a fabric is. The resulting measurement in millimeters refers to how high the water column must be on the fabric for the water to penetrate. For the best fabrics, the result can be as high as 30,000 mm or 30 meters before penetrating the fabric.
