Multi-effect distilled water equipment usually consists of more than two evaporative heat exchangers, separators, preheaters, condensers, valves, instrumentation and controls, etc. The general system has 3 to 6 effects, each effect consists of one evaporator, a separator and a preheater.
During the working process of a multi-effect still, the vapor (pure vapor) produced by each effect vaporizer is used to heat the raw water and produces pure vapor in each effect in turn, which then undergoes a phase change and after heating to vaporize the raw water, condensed into water for injection.
In the process of segmental evaporation and condensation, only the effective evaporator needs to be heated by an external heat source, and the pure vapor generated by the end effect and the water generated by the injection of each effect wed cooled by the condenser, so the effect in terms of energy saving is very obvious, and the more effect numbers, the better the energy saving effect.
That is, for a given water injection production, the efficiency must be increased to reduce the consumption of steam and cooling water.
The distilled water machine can withstand a pressure of 8 bar or more and the pressure vessel construction conforms to GB150 or other acceptable pressure vessel regulations such as ASME or PED; the control cabinet is protected by air supply. In order to achieve dust-proof, heat-proof and moisture-proof functions, the instrument cabinet and the control cabinet are arranged separately. The condenser must have a condensate gas evacuation device. The cooling water should be continuously adjusted to ensure the constant temperature of the water for injection.
