The Geotextile Dynamic Perforation Tester is used to cut circular samples from various wool, cotton, manmade, knitted and other fabrics.
Principle of the dynamic geotextile perforation tester:
The geotextile sample is clamped horizontally in the clamping ring, so that the steel cone of the specified quality stands out Drill the sample from a height of 500mm to form a hole in the sample, and then insert a small-angle graduated cone into the hole to measure the degree of penetration.
How to use:
Take the fabric to be cut, measure the thickness and set the trial disc as above.
Lay the fabric to be laid flat on the cork backing, place the disc pattern maker on the fabric, hold the outer shell 7 with one hand, hold the knurled handwheel 1 with the other hand and practice a specific onePressure and then turn the knurled handwheel 1 clockwise (angle of rotation > 90 degrees) to cut the round sample.
The sample should be cut on a cork pad. When the instrument is not in use, wipe it clean and put it in the instrument case to avoid damage to the instrument.
If the blade is not sharp after prolonged use, replace the blade as per 3.1.
The edge of the blade is very sharp. Therefore, do not put your hands on the bottom during use to avoid damage.
Structure and setting:
The cutting blade is a double-sided blade with four parts evenly distributed in quarters circumscribed by a circle. The blade can be replaced, the specific operation is:
Unscrew the Phillips screw of part 5 (there are 4 screws on each part), removethe blade pressure plate of part 6 and the sampling blade of part 4 and replace with a new blade, press the blade pressure plate of the upper part 6, make sure the blade opening is clockwise tangential and the four blades on the same plane then tighten the 5 Phillips screws.
There are real scar notches on the underside, which serve to fix the style, facilitate cutting and prevent the sample from slipping.
Below the knurled handwheel is a knurled wheel that can be used to adjust the cutting thickness. The specific method is: Loosen the Part 3 setscrew and turn the Part 2 thumbwheel (Clockwise decreases, counterclockwise increases). The locking element 3 can be locked with screws to the selected thickness value.
