1. There are several main parts to consider when servicing the pump:
a. Roller bearings:
After the pump has been in operation for a long time, the bearings must be replaced if they are worn to a certain extent.
b. Front O-ring, Rear O-ring:
When the O-ring wears to a certain extent, it must be replaced.
c. Mechanical seal:
In general, the mechanical seal should not be disassembled if it is not leaking?
Check. If there is severe leakage from the leakage port at the bottom of the bearing body, the mechanical seal should be disassembled for inspectionearth.
When assembling and disassembling the mechanical seal, be careful with it, pay attention to cleaning the mating surface, protect the mirror surface of the static ring and moving ring, and strictly prohibit knocking and collision.
The main reason for the mechanical seal leaking is the brushing of the mirror surface due to friction.
The repair method is to grind the friction end face to restore the mirror surface.
Another reason for mechanical seal leakage is improper installation of the “O” shaped rubber seal ring (or buffer pad) or deformation and aging. At this point it will be necessary to adjust or replace the o-ring for reassembly.
2. Pump disassembly sequence:
a. Remove The motor could detach from the coupling.
b. Remove She bearing body assembly, check the radial clearance between the impeller and the front ring and check if the impeller nut is loose.
c. Remove the impeller nut, pull out the impeller and check the radial clearance between the impeller and the rear oil seal.
d. Loosen the tight ring of the mechanical seal. Pull out the moving ring portion of the mechanical seal, check the fit of the moving and static ring end faces and check the “O” ring (or cushion) seal.
e. Loosen the clutch adjustment nut and pull out the clutch.
f. Remove the bearing end cover and remove the pump shaft and bearing.
g. Assembling can be done in reverse order when installing.
