Troubleshooting the pressure transmitter is another important part of pressure transmitter maintenance.
Common pressure transmitter failures, including inaccurate readings at the pressure transmitter gauge head, zero output current from the transmitter, no response from the transmitter to the applied pressure change, etc.
Maintenance:
1. Check the size of the installation hole:
If the size of the installation hole is not suitable. The threaded part of the sensor can be easily worn out during the installation process. This not only affects the sealing performance of the device, but also makes the pressure sensor unable to fully perform its function and may even lead to safety hazards.
Only proper mounting holes can avoid thread wear (thread industry standard 1/2-20 UNF 2B). Make appropriate adjustments.
2. Hold the inInstallation hole clean: It is very important to keep the installation hole clean and prevent the melt from clogging to ensure the normal operation of the device.
Before cleaning the extruder, all pressure sensors should be removed from the barrel to avoid damage.
When the sensor is removed, the melt can flow into the mounting hole and harden. If this residual melt is not removed, the top of the sensor may be damaged when reinstalling the sensor.
A cleaning kit removes this fry residue. However, the repeated cleaning process may increase the sensor damage caused by the mounting hole.
Should this happen, measures should be taken to lift the sensor in the mounting hole.
3. Choose the right location:
If the pressure sensor is installed too close in front of the production line, it may cause aThe sensor
If the sensor is installed too far back, there may be a molten material stagnation zone between the sensor and the screw stroke where the molten material collects Deteriorate and affect the pressure signal can also be deformed;
If the sensor is too deep in the barrel, the screw can touch the top of the sensor when turning and damage it.
In general, the sensor can be on the barrel before the screen, before or after the melt pump, or in the mold.
4. Thorough cleaning:
Before cleaning the extruder barrel with a wire brush or special cleaning agent, all sensors should be cleaned and disassembled.
Because these two cleaning methods can damage the vibrating membrane of the sensor.
When the keg is heated, the distremove the sensor and wipe the top with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. At the same time, the sensor hole must also be cleaned with a clean drill and guide bush.
